The eleven to thirteen year-old campers are learning about perspective through drawing Chicago’s city landscape. After looking at the work of Charles Demuth in the Art Institute, the young artists sketched in Millennium Park the skyscrapers of the city. Back in the classroom, they transformed these sketches into larger and more refined drawings, emphasizing on the linear perspective within their art works. Tomorrow they will apply watercolor on their drawings.
